I recommend starting music lessons around 4-5 years of age, although the best age can vary depending on the child. At this age, their interest and readiness to learn are key factors. Piano is often a fantastic instrument choice for young beginners due to its accessibility and foundational role in music education.

Our cancellation policy allows for flexibility while also ensuring the smooth operation of our studio. We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson. This allows us to offer the time slot to another student who may be waiting.

Regarding our weather policy, safety is our top priority. In the event of severe weather conditions or other emergencies, we may need to cancel lessons for the day. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases and work with you to reschedule your lesson at a convenient time.

While having your own instrument is beneficial for consistent practice, it’s not always necessary, especially when just starting out. However, as you advance, having access to an instrument for regular practice at home is essential for progress and development. I can provide recommendations on purchasing or renting an instrument based on your needs and budget.

Remember, aspiring pianists don’t need a grand piano to begin their journey—there are plenty of affordable keyboard options available!

While I don’t offer instrument rentals directly, I can certainly point you in the right direction. I can provide recommendations for reputable rental services in your area, ensuring you have access to quality instruments for your lessons. Feel free to reach out to me, and I’ll be happy to assist you in finding the perfect rental solution to suit your needs.
